Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has no regrets missing out on a move to Chelsea over the summer.

The Belgium international was the subject of several bids from Chelsea this summer but Roma were adamant the 28-year-old was not for sale at any price.

And now Nainggolan has revealed he is on the verge of securing his long-term future at the Stadio Olimpico.

"I decided to remain. I'm happy in this team and this thing (the contract renewal) will be solved," he said.

“Both me and the club we feel good together and soon we will find the agreement for the renewal. I feel I am a leader for the type of football we play."
