Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has apologised to fans after their Champions League run came to an end last night.
Roma defeated Liverpool 4-2 on the night, but the Reds reached the final 7-6 on aggregate.
Despite Nainggolan's two goals, his woeful back-pass gifted Sadio Mane the opening goal at the Stadio Olimpico.
“I'm proud to be part of this team…" wrote Nainggolan on Instagram.
“I'm sorry for the error that weighed heavily on the final result… We go forward… #dajeroma "
