AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini is interesting Manchester United.

The Manchester Evening News says United admire Roma's Italy international Pellegrini as a replacement for Marouane Fellaini.

Pellegrini graduated from the Roma academy but moved to Sassuolo in 2015.

Roma re-signed Pellegrini for €10m last year and he started in 22 of their Serie A fixtures as they finished third behind champions Juventus and Napoli.

Pellegrini managed three goals and four assists in the league and his contract also runs until 2022.
