AS Roma midfielder Erik Lamela has been banned for three games for spitting.

Lamela spat at the Swiss international on Sunday night after he seemed to react to a 'jibe' from the defender.

Video evidence was assessed by the disciplinary panel and he was handed a three-match suspension as suspected.
