Roma midfielder Diego Perotti admits they were delighted with victory over Napoli.

The result snapped a poor run of form for the Giallorossi and rocked title challengers Napoli.

Perotti said: "Yes, we came from two losses with Shakhtar and Milan and we had to play against Napoli, which is the team with the best game in Italy.

"I could be wrong, but the goal scored by (Paulo) Dybala at the last minute against Lazio could have annoyed them, while we have galvanized, because Lazio is a direct rival for the Champions League.

"They scored immediately, but we managed to stay in the game and finally to win it scoring 4 goals. Nobody expected it, given our form, but we gave a strong signal to the others: we want to qualify for the Champions League and go through against Shakhtar."
