Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi says they can be proud for putting so much pressure on champions Inter Milan.

Roma pushed the Scudetto race down to the wire, falling only in the final half-hour when Diego Milito scored the winner in Siena.

"We gave Inter hell right to the end and therefore compliment the winners. They are a tank," said De Rossi.

"We hope that with a team like ours, who came so close this time, can sooner or later get a Scudetto under its belt."
