AS Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi says he's up for a big performance in the derby against Lazio.

De Rossi goes into the game with his contract still to be settled.

"I do feel the derby very strongly. It's true that in the past, when I was young, I didn't sleep the night before and as a result never had a good performance," he smiled.

"I am calmer now."
