Roma have held talks with Inter Milan about a move to the Serie A champs for Julio Baptista.

Tuttosport says Roma have offered the Brazilian to Inter ahead of the January market as they seek to slash their wage bill.

Inter coach Jose Mourinho hasn't turned down the offer, as he considers Baptista as potential cover for Dutchman Wesley Sneijder.
