Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi is upbeat over his recovery from knee injury.

Florenzi was hit by a cruciate ligament injury in October.

“The knee is making good progress," Florenzi said in an interview with FIFA Magazine.

“It's going pretty well and we're all happy with the way things are going. What we need to do know is see how the knee holds up to increasing strain.

“The club is like a second family to me, my second home. Even when I was a young boy I dreamed of pulling on the shirt for this club one day, and I did everything I could to make that dream come true.

“The fact I managed it makes me really proud."
