Roma medical chiefs are confident over the recovery of skipper Francesco Totti.
Totti came on as a substitute in the Italian Super Cup and is approaching match fitness, but may have to sit out this weekend's trip to Palermo.
"He is in good shape," club doctor Franco Brozzi stated on Radio Incontro. "For the first time in the history of sports medicine a player who has had a cruciate operation could return to action within four months.
"We are working to help him regain his muscle tone but we will only put him on the pitch when he is completely ready."
