AS Roma have made an opening bid for Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.

Roma are in the market for a new keeper signing this summer and have made Handanovic a priority.

The Giallorossi offered €5 million for Handanovic, which was immediately turned down.

Roma are expected to try again for the Inter keeper, who has a year to run on his current deal.

Genoa keeper Mattia Perin is also under consideration.
