Italian club AS Roma are showing significant interest in Feyenoord star Jordy Clasie.

Voetbal International reports that the Giallorossi are readying a summer bid for the 23-year old midfielder who is expected to leave De Kuip in the upcoming transfer window.

Southampton have already been heavily linked with Holland international Clasie as Saints boss Ronald Koeman prepares for life without Morgan Schneiderlin.

It is also believed that Russian giants Zenit Saint Petersburg are keen on Clasie but a move to Italy's Serie A with Roma or the English Premier League with Southampton appeals more to the Feyenoord skipper who is udner contract until the summer of 2018.
