Roma have offered £5 million for Portsmouth fullback Nadir Belhadj.

Algerian newspaper Le Buteur says Roma have made an improved offer for Belhadj, who has also been linked with CSKA Moscow.

Pompey have permission from the Premier League to sell players outside the transfer windows. Roma have already failed with one offer of £4.5 million for the Algeria international.
