AS Roma chief Walter Sabatini has confirmed interest in Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Holland No1 is a major target for the Giallorossi.
Sabatini revealed: "Next week we'll also have an update on Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg."
One move has been completed, as Crotone have signed 19-year-old creative midfielder Stefano Pettinari on loan.
The Under-19 international was at Siena last season, but never made it on to the pitch.
