AS Roma legend Giuseppe Giannini has rapped coach Luis Enrique over his treatment of skipper Francesco Totti.

Enrique made it clear from the moment he arrived that Totti was no longer untouchable.

"He should certainly be fielded against Juventus on Monday, because he is a player who can bring a new mentality for all his teammates," said Giallorossi legend Giannini.

"He was on the bench in Florence and it showed, as the result was negative. Totti sends positive vibes to everyone around him.

"Totti was overthrown. Someone like him always needs to be at the centre of a project, while this season he was put in doubt right from the start. The whole environment around Roma felt the negative effects."
