Roma legend Abel Balbo is being linked with the hotseat at Universidad de Chile.
Jose Basualdo has resigned from the Chilean giants after their Copa Sudamerica defeat to San Lorenzo.
Former Roma and Fiorentina ace Balbo is in the frame for the job, having been in charge for just 24 hours at Treviso earlier this season.
