AS Roma have signed Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa on a permanent basis.
The 25-year old French centre-back has completed his transfer from Newcastle United for a reported fee of £5.5million.
Yanga-Mbiwa initially joined the Giallorossi on a season-long loan in September but has now shifted on a less temporary move after meeting a contractual condition in the loan agreement.
The four-time France international arrived at St James' Park from Montpellier in January 2013 but has moved on from England's north east after making 46 appearances in all competitions for the Toon.
