Roma are hopeful of securing agreement with Alberto Aquilani over a new contract at their next meeting. Corriere dello Sport says the outline of a new four-year contract worth £1.8 million-a-season has been tentatively agreed, with the next scheduled meeting expected to be decisive.
After Aquilani's deal is completed, Roma will open talks with Juan, Mirko Vucinic, Rodrigo Taddei and Simone Perrotta about new contracts.
Roma president Rosella Sensi also plans to personally handle negotiations with skipper Francesco Totti over his deal at the end of the season.
