Roma keeper Julio Sergio: Blame me for Chievo goals

AS Roma goalkeeper Julio Sergio says he's to blame for Chievo Verona's goals in their 2-2 draw.

The Giallorossi were leading 2-0 and looked comfortable at the Bentegodi, but the comeback was sparked by Davide Moscardelli's shot bouncing off the goalkeeper's gloves.

"The ball took an odd bounce, but even then I should've done better on the first goal," said Julio Sergio.

It was a difficult game all round due to the state of the pitch after heavy rainfall and snow.

"Our characteristics generally lead us to play the ball to feet, but on this surface it was impossible.

"It wasn't easy to play on a turf that was in this terrible condition."
