AS Roma goalkeeper Alexandre Doni will undergo a Liverpool medical today.
The Brazilian has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool over a two-year contract.
Should he pass his medical tests today, Liverpool will cough up around £800,000 to Roma for Doni's signing.
He will move to Liverpool as cover for Pepe Reina, but has been assured of game time in Cup and European action by manager Kenny Dalglish.
