Roma goalkeeper Artur Gusmao insists he wants to stay with the capital club.

The young Brazilian is playing second fiddle to Doni, but insists: "I do not see why I should leave in January, no one told me anything to the contrary and I want to stay here.

"At Roma, we all know that it is difficult for a goalkeeper, but I work every day to improve and to be ready. I work as if I were a starter, this is what I always do."
