Liverpool are in contact with AS Roma over negotiations for Alisson Becker.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport says Chelsea are regarded as favourites to land the Brazil international. Alisson would join the Blues as a replacement for Thibaut Courtois, who is set to sign for Real Madrid after the World Cup.
Yesterday, Roma spoke with Liverpool intermediaries to test their interest in Alisson. It's suggested Liverpool would be willing to pay €65m to land the shot-stopper.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are expected to open talks with Roma about a fee for Alisson once the appointment of new manager Maurizio Sarri is settled.
For their part, Roma are seeking €70m to sell their No1.
