Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma are hoping they can get Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given on loan according to reports.
The Republic of Ireland international has been the number two at City all season, behind Joe Hart, and has hinted at an exit for some time now.
It is believed that his national team boss Giovanni Trapattoni has highly recommended Given to Italian clubs, particularly Roma, but it is unclear whether or not they will offer him a loan of permanent deal but City reportedly want to sell him to another English Premier League club.
