The race for PSG midfielder Javier Pastore is heating up.
The Daily Star says AS Roma are set to step up their interest in Arsenal and Liverpool target Pastore with the PSG star desperate to secure regular first-team football.
According to reports in Italy, current Serie A table toppers Roma are looking to secure Pastore, 24, on a six-month loan deal and will battle Arsenal and Liverpool for his signature.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger saw a late bid to sign Pastore on the final day of the summer transfer window fail to materialise.
