AS Roma have kicked off negotiations for Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca.
The Colombia international has been linked with Roma since the end of the season, but Sky Italia says talks have only just been launched.
Bacca's agent Ivan Ramiro Cordoba has twice met with Roma chief Walter Sabatini this month.
Roma are eager to close a deal for Bacca, but Sevilla insist he won't leave for less than €25 million - his buyout clause.
Sabatini is first working on finding personal terms with Bacca before negotiating with Sevilla.
