AS Roma signing Michel Bastos has found himself in hot water days into his new move.
The Brazilian winger was introduced to the Stadio Olimpico supporters and held up a scarf that carried the message 'Lazio merda' - translating to 'Lazio s***'.
A statement from Roma said: "Bastos has shown a scarf thrown by the fans without knowing the message it had.
"The club and Michel would like to apologise for what took place."
