Italian giants Roma are keen on wrapping up a deal for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, according to reports from the Manchester Evening News.
Dzeko has consistently been linked with a move away from City and it now seems like the club will finally sanction the sale of the Bosnian international this summer following their whopping £49million swoop for Raheem Sterling from Liverpool.
Roma have been on the trail of Dzeko for quite a while and it has now been revealed by the M.E.N that the Italian giants are ramping up their pursuit for the striker.
City have set an asking price of around £20million for Dzeko but Roma are hopeful of sealing the deal at a fee close to £12million.
Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini is England this week to try and push through the transfer.
