AS Roma have pulled out of the race to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
With Begovic yet to extend his current contract at Stoke which expires next summer, it is widely believed that the Bosnian international will be exiting the Britannia Stadium this summer.
As a result, a host of clubs are chasing the signature of Begovic and Italian side Roma were said to be front runners in the race to sign the goalkeeper.
According to reports emerging out of Italy, Roma have dropped their interest in Begovic and will now be focusing their attention on targets elsewhere.
