AS Roma and Tottenham officials dined last night in London.Roma sports director Walter Sabatini returned to England yesterday accompanied by director Mauro Baldissoni and held a dinner meeting with Tottenham football chief Franco Baldini.
On the table for discussion was the future of Roma striker Mattia Destro, along with the situation of Spurs defender Vlad Chiriches.
Sabatini sees Chiriches as a replacement for Mehdi Benatia, should the Moroccan leave in the coming weeks.
He also asked after Erik Lamela and offered tips to Baldini how best to manage the Argentine winger.
