AS Roma deny reports of talks having begun over a new contract with Marquinhos.
The Brazilian defender has been linked with Manchester City and Barcelona.
"AS Roma wish to announce that there are no negotiations underway for the renewal of Marcos Aoás Corrêa's contract, which is set to expire in 2017," Roma said in a statement.
"Furthermore, the player has not made any such request on the matter."
