Roma defender Juan believes coach Claudio Ranieri has helped rescue his career.

Juan feels rejuvenated after the arrival of Ranieri.

"Around two years ago I had an injury to my right ankle and since that moment I've had a thousand muscular setbacks on the other leg, as it was affecting my posture," he told the Corriere dello Sport.

"Now with Ranieri many things have changed. We did blood tests that prompted an analysis of my diet. As a Brazilian, I really love eating meat, but it isn't good for me. I also changed my football boots."
