AS Roma have made contact with former France coach Laurent Blanc.

Sky Italia says Roma have made Blanc aware that they have him under consideration.

Roma management will meet with coach Zdenek Zeman to thrash out any differences after a disappointing month of results.

Boardroom sources say Roma are happy to continue with Zeman for the remainder of the season, but should he fail to convince during today's crunch talks, they're prepared to replace him with Blanc.
