Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has admitted interest in West Ham midfielder Sofiane Feghouli.
The Algeria international is available from the Irons this month after a difficult six months.
Roma are keen, seeing Feghouli as cover for Mohamed Salah while he's away for the Africa Cup of Nations. The sale of Juan Iturbe has also created an opening.
"The focus shifted towards Feghouli - it's true. You write it anyway, so there is no sense to hide the facts," said Spalletti.
"The other options have cooled. He is the one who can replace Iturbe, who signed for Torino."
