Roma coach Luciano Spalletti was delighted with Edin Dzeko's performance in victory over Inter Milan.

Dzeko struck in the 2-1 win.

Spalletti said, “From the start of the season I said we needed Dzeko. A centre-forward with that physique gives the team different attacking options. Besides, Edin also has the quality to play the ball quickly and to feet, though at times he lacks the necessary determination.

“Edin is sensitive and a guy who needs to feel support. When he left the field, the Curva Sud was praising him to the rafters. He knows what I expect from him: more ferocity. We were all happy, as we won a game against a very strong team."
