Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has laughed off reports linking him with Olympique Lyon.

"I am very happy at Roma," the 49-year old told L'Equipe. "I can do a very, very good job here. I have everything I want here. Everybody has his place and everyone trusts everyone else."

However, Spalletti did reveal that Lyon made a strange advance towards him before the Giallorossi put them out of the Champions League at the last 16 stage in 2006.

"A few weeks before that game, I received a Christmas message from Lyon," he revealed. "In the card it said: success is for those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

"Lyon sent this to the Coach of the team they were playing next in the Champions League. That's a demonstration of the mentality of their directors."
