Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has confirmed their interest in off contract Inter Milan striker Julio Cruz.

"Cruz is a good player like all the names that are being linked with us," Spalletti told Sky Italia.

The charismatic Tuscan then admitted Roma would have to sell before they can buy this summer.

"I am convinced Roma will go on the market to make operations, but we have to wait and identify the right thing. Then we'll wait to see if there is someone who wants to carry someone away from us."
