Roma coach Claudio Ranieri admits they were poor in their Europa League defeat to FC Basle.
"It was a bad defeat. We tried to play, but at times we have to be more practical and clinical, as we try to move the ball around too much and get nowhere," said Ranieri.
"There are certainly problems we need to resolve, the lads must learn to react and remain concentrated for the full 90 minutes."
Defensive errors were again at fault for the goals and Ranieri raised eyebrows when he replaced John Arne Riise with Max Tonetto.
"I needed more of a forward momentum and Max certainly gave me that," explained the tactician.
"Now we must look ahead to the game with Fiorentina. We know that we have to react to this situation and keep working."
