Roma are eyeing Newcastle United winger Jonas Gutierrez.

Roma coach Claudio Ranieri is a big fan of Jonas, having followed him since he was playing in Spain.

The Argentina international is also being linked with Barcelona and could be on the move if Newcastle fail to find a new buyer for the club.

Ranieri is desperate to add width to his midfield and sees Jonas as the ideal solution.
