AS Roma remain interested in Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
The Evening Chronicle says sources in Italy claim Roma are weighing up a January swoop for Cabaye, who played under the Serie A club's coach Rudi Garcia at Lille.
Cabaye saw a bid from Arsenal turned down by Newcastle last summer.
