AS Roma coach Rudi Garcia is eager to see a deal closed for Arsenal attacker Gervinho.

Garcia has personally requested the transfer, having worked wonder together during their triumphant time at French team Lille.

A source told the Daily Star: "Garcia has made Gervinho his top choice.

"He knows only too well of his capabilities and that is why Roma will pay a higher price."
