AS Roma coach Luis Enrique has hit out at the media over claims of a blow-up with the board. Enrique is under increasing pressure with results not going his way.
He snapped: "You in the media want to create a battle between myself and the directors, but I'm not interested in these things.
"When there is the need to talk with the directors then I will do that in private. I'm just thinking of improving the team.
"I'm not embarrassed by anything, I'm proud of my players for the way they train and also for the disappointment that I see in their faces when we lose a game.
"Nobody can say that this side won't do some important things in the future. All of my players are doing well, they are growing and in the space of two or three years they can do really well - with whatever Coach.
"I take responsibility for things here, let's leave the players in peace.
"How long did it take Johan Cruyff to win? How long Alex Ferguson? Every Coach has his own timing."
