Roma coach Enrique beaming after thrashing Inter Milan

AS Roma coach Luis Enrique was delighted with his players after their thumping win over Inter Milan.

The Giallorossi have had a rollercoaster of a week, falling 4-2 at Cagliari and beating the Nerazzurri 4-0 yesterday.

“It was a great day for us and a wonderful victory after the defeat to Cagliari,” said the Spanish tactician.

“But it won’t count for anything if we don’t find consistency every single week. How much of this result was down to Inter playing badly? We won 4-0 and were superior from the first to the 90th minute. We deserve the credit for that.

“I have to thank the fans who came out in such large numbers to support us in this weather and also those who worked through the night to ensure the stadium was open for business.”
