AS Roma coach Eusebio Di Francesco insists they'll be competitive this season.

Di Francesco has assured fans they will challenge title favourites Juventus.

He said, “We should feel confident for the season ahead, even if Juventus have shown themselves to be very strong on the pitch. We need determination and grit, those elements that allowed us to recover from a negative period last season.

“There has been too much talk of tactical systems and experiments. We have to build on the things this team feels confident about, but to focus on these issues creates exasperation.

“I can confirm that Edin Dzeko will start tomorrow, so Patrik Schick is on the bench. Schick is one of those young players who needs to be less tense."
