Di Francesco acknowledges both players are the subject of talks with Chelsea, but with no deal settled he sees no problem naming them in his squad for tonight's game.
"Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri? I leave myself total freedom, regardless of the transfer negotiations that are underway. These are two players who are available, also for tomorrow and probably they will both be usable," said the coach.
"I would make them play if they can make themselves useful. Dzeko is at our disposal, I hope he will remain so all season. I will continue to use him as long as he is in Trigoria (the training centre of Roma)."
