AS Roma chief Walter Sabatini is locked in talks with Seattle Sounders for fullback DeAndre Yedlin.
The USA World Cup star has been offered trials by Liverpool after a superb campaign in Brazil.
However, Corriere dello Sport says Roma are favourites for the right-back, wth Sabatini already discussing terms with the Sounders and MLS.
Roma management are weighing up whether to sign Yedlin now and bring him to Europe, or allow him to spend the remainder of the 2014 season on-loan in the US before taking him to Italy in January.
