Tottenham are in talks with AS Roma today for Marco Borriello.
Roma sports director Walter Sabatini is in London for transfer business, which includes speaking with his Spurs counterpart Franco Baldini about Borriello.
Baldini knows all about the Italy striker thanks to his time with the Giallorossi and believes he can be a good, affordable alternative to Roberto Soldado.
Sabatini is also in London to sell Nicolas Burdisso to West Ham United this week.
