A deal between Roma and Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah is not yet over the line.

Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio says Roma chief Walter Sabatini met with Salah's representatives last night to discuss the move.

The Egypt international is eager to join the Giallorossi, but after lengthy talks last night, no agreement over personal terms have been struck.

Roma also are reluctant to meet Chelsea's €25 million asking price for Salah.

Napoli have also made an attempt, but intermediaries have made it clear Salah doesn't fancy a move to Naples.
