AS Roma chief Walter Sabatini insists they want to keep hold of midfielder David Pizarro.
Sabatini has cooled reports that Pizarro could join Napoli this summer.
"That possibility has certainly not come from me," the new Giallorossi transfer guru insisted.
"It is true that the player has endured some unhappy moments, but these situations happen and it is only natural that misunderstandings occur.
"Certain dynamics exist in the game that sometimes can't be controlled, but these are normal in the world of football.
"I'll have to firstly speak with every one of our players and then we'll take the necessary decisions."
