Roma sports chief Daniele Prade admits Cristian Chivu could stay in the capital next season.

A move to Real Madrid has stalled over personal terms and Prade said: "We've accepted their offer, but are waiting to learn what the player is doing.

"We know that Inter have withdrawn their interest, which they announced on their official website, and now we must wait to see what the will of the player is.

"Of course, another year with Roma can't be ruled out for him."
