Roma chief Daniel Prade is aware of interest from Real Madrid in defender Juan.

The Brazil international is being linked with Real as they seek a replacement signing for Pepe, who has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury.

Prade said: "I read about a possible interest from Real Madrid. We have not heard anything directly and we rely heavily on players like him.

"So we will keep a tight hold on him."
